A spotter is a person who, through sensory technology, reports on the landscape and activities to field personnel from a safe distance. Ilias has experience spotting for Rix mapping out Gaia

In Daedalus, different crewmen of the Daedalus 13 will act as spotter for Rix in different areas of the planet:

• Ayda is your spotter in the Zenith and Storm Lands.
• Ilias is your spotter in the Molten Jungle and Crystal Mine Shaft.
• James is your spotter in the Solar Farm and Inhabited Zone.
• Devon is your spotter in the Athenaeum.
