Sirius Conflict

A conflict between the Eridani Trust and the Sirius Military Consulate sparked by the destruction of the wormhole between Sirius and Janus, the Sirius Conflict began on the 150th anniversary of the colonization of Janus. Fought on Gaia, Janus, Tau Ceti, and Persephone, it resulted in the destruction of the Janus-Kapteyn wormhole and establishment of the Sirius Military Consulate as the dominant power in the worlds beyond Sirius.

History

The Eridani Trust was formed in the early 22nd century as a conglomeration of several large companies. Through their pooled resources, it financed the Daedalus voyage to Janus, and then subsequent voyages to Tau Ceti, Gaia, and Persephone. As the Eridani Trust became the only source of ownership in this Sirius corridor,
